in charge of the conception, the promotion and the implementation
of all education and teaching policies, programs and
activities within the Company. Salsa Concept Academy

to learn Spanish language and Salsa lyrics.

New York/LA/Puerto-Rico “on One” mixed with
Cuban style and Rumba
The
curriculum consists of 3 main courses:
beginners
– intermediate
– advanced
and performers
Specific
workshops such as “Training for trainers in Salsa”
are also offered. Each course consists in 10 classes
each of which is 1 hour long

Content
of the Program:
Video presentation (extracts of the best performance
and instructional videos) of the leading Salsa Kids
from the US, Pueto Rico and and Cuba, showing how Kids
and youngster can develop their intelligence and abilities,
with Salsa dance and performance skills. (15 mn)
Discussion
session. Participants are split in small groups
under supervision of a "Tutor" for questions
and answers about Salsa dance and music. To help, I
will prepare a sheet with questions such as: -What is
Salsa ?- Where Salsa comes from ? Would you like to
make friends with salsa? - Do you like dancing - Why
do you come to this Salsa session? - Do you think you
can be a good dancer ?- Have you tried salsa dancing
before ? - What other dances you have done before ?
- When do you like to dance ? - What music do you prefer
? How do you dress for salsa ? - Where you dance Salsa
in Bangkok ? - Is dancing important in our life ? -
What is the difference between Salsa and Hip Hop or
reggeaton ? - Can dancing salsa make you smarter in
school? - (15 mn).
Discussions shall be conducted in English. Further sessions
may be done in
Spanish, French, Italian or other "Latin"
languages according to the success
of the concept.
Break for soft drinks and snacks. (10 mn)
Group dance in line All kids are aligned behind lead
instructor (me)
for learning the basic dance steps. (30 mn)
Break for soft drinks and snacks (15 mn)
Partner
work. All kids are put face to face with a partner to
practice their basic steps. Their rotate to have a chance
to interact
with as many participants as possible. Partner work
will include basic
steps and Basic combo and turns and introduction to
basic Rueda de casino.

The
proposed fees for participation is 1.500 bahts per participant.
Intructional
Documents and material iwill be distributed to participants.
DVDs of the best Salsa Performances -Salsa Congress
(Albert Torres Salsa Congress 2005) and Salsa
CDs will be available for sale -only by pre-order.
