Salsa is not only about music and dance. It includes many other literary and artistic expressions that are recognized are culture by the United Nations Education and Science Organization UNESCO.

The international Convention under UNESCO aims at promoting all dance expressions around the world including Salsa.

The International Dance Council CID –UNESCO has received the special mandate to promote dances as means to promote peace and human development.

Dr Roland, promoter of Salsa concept was admitted on the list of Who’s Who of the UNESCO dance directory and member of the International Dance Council –UNESCO.

In its effort to bridge the culture gap, Salsa Concept brings a significant contribution for the full recognition of Salsa as a cultural activity.

Initiatives in this regards convert but are not limited to, the promotion UNESCO ideal, Identification and promotion of Salsa artists in Least Developed countries, Organization of Salsa events in Africa, or involving African artists, promotion of Salsa literature, original and theme salsa music compilations (such as “the best French songs in Salsa music”), Salsa and Rumba booklets, Choreographies, workshops and seminars etc.
